My research papers delve into the history of Dalit conversions to Christianity in colonial South India, focusing on how Dalits used conversion as a means to fight caste oppression and improve their lives. It highlights their efforts to gain education, land, and social respect through missionary support. My papers also looks at Telugu Christian periodicals and missionary print, showing how these publications shaped identity during the colonial period.

Research and Teaching

As a Lecturer in English, I have been actively engaged in teaching English Language, Literature, and Cultural Studies to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. My teaching portfolio includes English language proficiency, communication skills, business communication, literary genres such as Drama, Poetry, and Fiction, Indian Writing in English, Dalit Literature, and Women's Writing. I emphasize fostering critical thinking, effective communication, and intercultural understanding among students. Alongside teaching, my research focuses on the intersections of caste, gender, and Christianity in colonial and contemporary South India, contributing to both classroom learning and scholarly debates.

Academic Contributions

I have made significant academic contributions through peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and invited talks on Dalit history, vernacular Christianity, and the intersections of caste and colonialism. I have published in reputed journals. My research has been supported by prestigious fellowships such as DAAD, Charles Wallace, and AHRC, and I have presented papers at leading international forums including the University of Oxford, Uppsala University, and the University of London.

Mentoring for Higher Education

I am actively involved in providing guidance and mentoring for Govt Degree College students aspiring to pursue postgraduate studies through CUET-PG and AP-PG CET. I organize orientation sessions, share preparatory materials, conduct mock tests, and clarify doubts to help students perform confidently. I also collaborate with like-minded faculty. Through this initiative, I have been mentoring students across Andhra Pradesh and beyond, encouraging them towards higher education and academic success.

As a result, many of my students have successfully secured postgraduate admissions in prestigious institutions such as the University of Hyderabad, English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Pondicherry University, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Central University of Karnataka, Central University of Kerala, and several public universities across Andhra Pradesh.
